Your responsibilities
  • You are responsible to provide development project / program planning inputs for the Product Managers released requirement (packages), especially for definition of required resources and of timeline
  • You are responsible to deliver the project(s) / program(s) scope “ordered” by the Product Manager in an agile development approach, that means in detail:
    • Leading and motivating the cross functional product development team
    • You have the responsibility for realization of development projects / programs in time and budget for that you own the project / program budget (cost & schedule) and host the project / program milestone reviews & challenge meetings and execute changes
    • You communicate closely with the Product Architect acting as technical project lead
    • You manage and actively communicate project / program risks
    • You proactively solve road blocks for for your dedicated project / program and escalate (if necessary) decision proposals to management
    • You monitor & report on progress (Cost, Schedule, Risk, Technical performance/Scope)
  • You communicate closely with other Product Program Managers and Product Manager and contribute to lessons learnt exchange and applies best practices in projects / programs
  • You also communicate with discipline heads / line management and secure resources required with discipline heads (incl. required adjustments & monitoring) and provide inputs on team member performance for line managers
Your profile
  • You have an university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or similar. In addition, you have minimum five years of experience within industrial environment and an in-depth understanding of program or project management, especially like Project Planning, Scheduling, Coordination, Metrics Reporting, Change Management, Escalation Management
  • You are confident in managing projects as well as working in Microsoft Office or agile tools (e.g. Devops, Polarion)
  • We take for granted that you master to identify technical problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • You have experience in Matrix- und Project organization within international environment and have worked in agile environments
  • You have solid experience in translating ideas into high-level documented requirements that can be comprehended by development teams
  • You have strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, solid communication, and proven leadership skills – with the ability to lead
  • You are characterized as a person with high level analytical skills, team orientation, resilience, and social competence
  • You enjoy working in a multicultural environment and speak, read and write English and German effortlessly and are eligible of travelling internationally and to other locations when needed
